The Upsala Blue Jays took down down the Opole Bears 5-1 on a beautiful Saturday in Opole.  Upsala pitchers combined to give up 1 run on 6 hits while striking out 12 Bears.  The Upsala offense was led by Ben Burggraff with an RBI double and Eric Lampert and Darin Gerads who both gathered their first career Blue Jays hits.  The Jays played errorless defense while turning a pair of double plays.  The Jays are now 1-0 and start regular season action this Sunday, April 22nd in Upsala versus Flensburg in a West Division match-up.
