The Upsala Blue Jays opened Victory League play with a 13-3 victory over West division rival Opole Bears.  John Fuchs and Matt Swanson threw 4 innings a piece in the victory.  Justin Lampert led the way offensively with 4 hits, while Brady Burggraff and Chris Ripplinger also had multi-hit games.  Keaton Gustin had 3 hits for Opole.

The Jays will be back in action this coming weekend as the Randall Cubs visit Upsala in the Blue Jays home opener in Victory League play.  The forecast calls for mid-70's which should make it a great day at the ballyard.  Opening pitch is slated for 1:30 on Sunday.
